Trashbag skin
Nobody told me the Jabberwocky is in the new Alice. Now I'm more excited. Especially since this was the only physical image I got to see of the Jabberwocky as a kid. His skin looks like it's made out of trashbags. And why is he wet? Also, did anyone remember John Stamos being in the tv special? I do! I do! He played the gryphon. I miss 80's tv.

Ohhhhh Lewis....

If you ever get a chance to read The Complete Works of Lewis Caroll....do it. Guy was amazing. He writes in giant beautiful metaphors and it's awesome. He completely changes space and time and logic in a great way.
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
-Alice
It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.
-Alice
The adventures first… explanations take such a dreadful time.
-The Gryphon
If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.
-Lewis Carroll
Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast
-The Queen
But it's no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then
-Alice
'But I don't want to go among mad people,' said Alice. 'Oh, you can't help that,' said the cat. 'We're all mad here.'
Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it.
One of the secrets of life is that all that is really worth the doing is what we do for others.
She generally gave herself very good advice, (though she very seldom followed it).
Take care of the sense and the sounds will take care of themselves.
That's the reason they're called lessons, because they lesson from day to day.
The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday - but never jam today.
While the laughter of joy is in full harmony with our deeper life, the laughter of amusement should be kept apart from it. The danger is too great of thus learning to look at solemn things in a spirit of mockery, and to seek in them opportunities for exercising wit.
Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle.

Happy Johnny Depp Week!
I've dubbed it Johnny Depp week. Just in time for the new Alice in Wonderland and the replaying of Benny and Joon all week on TV. Buster Keaton style and an awkward guy that loves a crazy girl that is scared by the California Raisins. Gotta love that. And I think this movie spawned the weird way he dresses today, which I love. I'd walk 500 miles for this guy. And ah-I would walk 500 more.

Incubus - I Wish You Were Here (Video)
Uploaded by farfocel. - Explore more music videos.
This awesome director's cut of this Incubus video was inspired by one of my favorite trippy movies Head by The Monkees (written by Jack Nicholson). Start playing the Incubus video then start the Head video 2 mins and 44 seconds in at the EXACT same time and you'll see how much it was influenced by the movie. I love it. And I love both songs. The Porpoise Song is amazing and in the movie Vanilla Sky and Wish You Were Here is just beautiful and the mix is amazing and makes me smile. And Micky Dolenz and Brandon Boyd make me smile too. Boom.

wish you were here
Running in circles, chasing tails, coming back as we are

Come up to meet you,
tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are.
I had to find you,
tell you I need you,
Tell you I set you apart.
Tell me your secrets
ask me your questions,
Oh lets go back to the start.
Running in circles,
Comin' in tails
Heads on a science apart.
Nobody said it was easy,
It's such a shame for us to part.
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be this hard.
Oh take me back to the start.
I was just guessin' at numbers and figures,
Pulling the puzzles apart.
Questions of science, science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart.
And tell me you love me, come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start.
Runnin' in circles,
Chasin' tails
Comin' back as we are
Nobody said it was easy,
Oh it's such a shame for us to part.
Nobody said it was easy,
No one ever said it would be so hard.
I'm goin' back to the start.
