Designer Alexander McQueen was found this morning after killing himself shortly after the death of his mother. I remember being in high school and seeing this special on TV of runway models in black pods walking out of a smoke filled New York subway entrance. It was a crazy trippy awesome fashion show. And it was Alexander McQueen. The most progressive fashion designer of our time. He made fashio art again while everyone else was catering to street style. There always needs to be a spot in fashion for designs where people stop and say "What IS that?" He filled that spot. He was truly an artist and not just a tailor.
